Aha, what do we have here? Another Le slot? At this point, that question basically answers itself. Position Multipliers

Position Multipliers, as mentioned above, are one of the main new additions in Le Prechaun, and they are tied directly to Wild symbols. When a Wild is part of a win, the payout is handled first, and then the position where that Wild landed becomes marked with a x2 Position Multiplier.

If that position later takes part in another winning combination, the win is multiplied by the shown value. When several Position Multipliers are involved in the same win, their values are multiplied together.

There’s also an upgrade element. Every time a Wild lands on the same grid position as an existing Position Multiplier and takes part in a win, that multiplier doubles in value. Golden Squares

The Golden Squares feature is the familiar Le series reveal mechanic. When a winning combination occurs, the positions behind winning symbols become Golden Squares. If a Rainbow symbol lands, it activates those positions after all cascades have been completed, revealing Coins or special symbols.

Coins are cash prizes paid as a multiplier of the bet. They come in four types, namely Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Diamond. The values range from 0.2x to 500x the stake.

Green Clovers multiply adjacent symbols, while Gold Clovers multiply all of them on the grid. Bag of Gold symbols collect values from adjacent 3x3 positions, while Pot of Gold symbols collect values from the entire grid. Once the reveal sequence is finished, all Coins, Bags, and Pots are added together and paid as the final cash prize.

Le Prechaun comes with three Free Spins rounds, and this is where the new Lucky Charm Bar is found. The first bonus is Arc Adventure, triggered by 3 Scatter symbols. It starts with 10 free spins and keeps the base game mechanics, but all Golden Squares remain on the grid until a Rainbow symbol activates them. Position Multipliers are permanent here and stay marked until the end of the bonus.

Honestly, I opened Le Prechaun with totally zero expectations. But once I actually booted it up and opened the rules, my mood changed in an instant. Finally, something new. Le Prechaun is still very obviously built on the same foundation as its related games, but the Position Multipliers and Lucky Charm Bar actually feel like a breath of fresh air.

To sum things up, Le Prechaun stands as one of the stronger installments in the series. Hacksaw Gaming has already issued over 15 Le slots by now, and they have hardly stood apart from one another besides different themes. Le Prechaun is the one that delivers meaningful gameplay additions rather than relying solely on a new design choice. It does not flip the concept upside down, but it is entertaining, visually excellent, and easily one of the better Le releases in a while.
