After that, the pigs fly away from the fight point – horizontally, vertically, or diagonally – and anything important they pass over can get collected or activated on the way.

Corner Bombs & Tunnel

The four corners of the initial 6x6 grid are occupied by Corner Bombs, and each one is assigned a pig colour at the start of the round. If a pig collects a symbol sitting on top of a Corner Bomb that matches its colour, that bomb becomes armed. It does not go off immediately, though. The detonation happens when the pigs can no longer collect any more symbols. When it triggers, the Corner Bomb clears a 3x3 area originating from that corner and removes all pigs from the grid in the process. It also blows away the connected pipeline section surrounding the original grid. It’s the way the game expands the grid, ultimately pushing the playfield up to a maximum of 8 rows by 8 columns.

The pipeline around the grid is split into four sections, and once a detonated Corner Bomb has removed at least one section, it turns into a tunnel route. A pig can move through that tunnel when it can collect the symbol at the entrance and the symbol at the exit. Each tunnel section can also reveal up to two feature symbols, and those are collected automatically as the pig passes by.

Collection Meter & Feature Symbols

Above the grid is located a symbol collection meter. It counts gems and Wilds collected by any of the four pigs, and it keeps tracking symbols for as long as the pigs are still able to move and collect. There’s one exception, though – it’s disabled during the wolf construction feature.

When the collection meter fills up, you earn one pending feature symbol release. You can store up to three at a time, and all pending releases are awarded simultaneously. A release can happen in a few key moments – right before a Corner Bomb detonates, as part of the first bonus drop in the bonus game, or when the pigs can no longer collect any more symbols.

When released, a number of regular gem symbols on the grid are converted into special feature symbols. There are nine different feature symbol types available in the Huff N’ Puff CollectR slot, which are the following:

If the wolf manages to take down all four pigs, it then collects all remaining symbols on the grid, and the crane multiplier is applied to the final collected amount.

Wolf Demolition

Wolf Demolition can trigger whenever the pigs are unable to collect any more symbols. When activated, the game wipes the board and then drops all symbols back in a different order. As part of the process, one, two, or three pigs can be removed, and any gems that match the colour of a removed pig are replaced by the colour of one or more of the returning pigs.

Golden Wheel

The Golden Wheel triggers when the pigs or the wolf manage to collect every collectible symbol on the grid.
