Donny Dough OG continues to be an entertaining online slot despite the significantly reduced win cap and the fewer paylines. From where I stand, the industry is constantly changing, and developers are trying to fill gaps and meet new demands. In my opinion, the game in hand today is following a trend that started months ago and not from the Hacksaw Gaming studios.

It’s difficult to say from where, but at the end of summer, Hacksaw offered to the public a compact version of its most iconic slot: Le Bandit Hold & Win. But unlike Donny Dough and Donny Dough OG, the game actually offers a different bonus mechanic from the original Le Bandit. That’s why I was surprised at first about the almost complete lack of modifications in the OG.

It offers a very similar math model, the same designs, and identical bonus mechanics, including LootLine, Multi-Dough Symbols, Free Spins, and Buy Bonus. The only noticeable changes are in the matrix size, number of paylines, and betting options. The latter might be of particular interest to high-stakes players. So, after all, Donny Dough OG expands the original, and if you liked it in the first place, there is no reason not to try the sequel.
