Our Verdict

Before we get into Triple Pot Gold specifically, I have some general suggestions I’ve wanted to get off my chest for a while. It’s a bit annoying that Pragmatic Play is hiding the turbo spin option in the settings menu instead of having a turbo icon next to the spin button. Also, the default bet level of €2 seems a bit optimistic, and €1 would be more appropriate in my view. Minor details, perhaps, but it adds up each time you play their games.

And while we are at it, Pragmatic Play seldom, if ever, discloses the ante bet stats, as in how much it actually increases your bonus round chances. This is also the case in Triple Pot Gold slot, and I think it’s vital information players need to decide to pay extra per spin. That being said, I do like the Autoplay menu, which comes with both a Quick Spin and Turbo Spin option. Okay, enough nitpicking, let’s move on to the game at hand.

Triple Pot Gold is somewhat similar to Pragmatic’s Leprechaun-themed Lucky’s Wild Pub released around the same time. At least both games revolve around triggering the bonus round by collecting 3 different types of scatters. The similarities end there, however, as the 3 modifiers in Triple Pot Gold are all about upgrading position multipliers. This is a system I've never seen before, and it’s a bit disappointing that the multipliers only boost money symbols.

On a positive note, the bonus round has a decent hit rate of 1 in 184.46 spins, and bonus round money symbols are collected without needing those elusive collector symbols. The 5,000x max win is not too shabby either, boasting a hit rate of 1 in 3,649,635 spins. The Asian visuals offer few surprises compared to most similar slots from Pragmatic (and others), and we doubt Triple Pot Gold will be a massive hit in Western markets.
