Toro 911 is an upcoming online slot by the renowned game constructor ELK Studios. It is scheduled for release on the 2nd of December and brings a forgotten hero back into action. Actually, Toro is no longer a hero or an ordinary character , but a legend that has been walking on the iGaming streets since 2016. Almost a decade later, he is now coming in another role!

ELK Studios is a Swedish slot developer that needs no introduction among the online gambling communities. Matadors are also walking wilds that generate respins. Once one or more appear, they will have wild multipliers of at least x2. A respin will be initiated, and Matadors will be either moved to another random position or disabled. Respins will continue for as long as at least one Matador is still on the grid. Toro can appear on reel 5 only, and if he appears with Matadors in view, he will charge them.

Toro will get to the nearest Matador, spawning regular wilds on the way and generating respins. Toro is a walking wild, and he appears alone; he will move a reel leftwards again, generating respins. If Toro goes over a wild, it will get an x2 multiplier, or the current one will be increased by x1, if it already has x2 or higher.

Mayor Diaz is a sticky wild, and if he appears alone, he will dial his goons, and at least one Matador will also come into play. Toro charges at Diaz in the same way as he does with his goons, but Diaz can escape. If so, he will move to another random position and stick there. Diaz also generates respins, and if he is on the grid with Matadors, he will increase their multipliers.

Toro Goes Wild

Toro Goes Wild is the name of the feature described in the above paragraphs. Toro charges Matadors one at a time and knocks them out of the grid. He is adding extra wilds while doing that, and after the first hit, it becomes a multiplier wild, taking the multiplier of the nicked out Matador. These multipliers are additive, and Toro will continue to charge at Matadors until there is no one left.

Clean the Streets

Diaz and Toro, in view at the same time, trigger the Clean the Streets feature. Diaz makes a call, and at least one Matador comes into play. Toro knocks out the goons first, adding wilds and accumulating multipliers. Finally, he will charge Diaz, and if the attack is successful, the feature ends. But, if the cunning Mayor escapes, it will continue with another respin.

Theme & Graphics

Toro 911 features the same Bullfighting theme in its core as the first game from the series, but the setting is new. The visuals are of premium quality and quite humorous, while the audio is full of adrenaline and a sense of urgency. To be frank, the loud police sirens can be slightly annoying, as they never stop. There is a big election poster to the left saying “Trust in Me, Vote Diaz”.

Over the years, Toro has proven to be a true shape-shifter, and the new role of a law-enforcer suits him great again. The brave bull has been in the image of a pharaoh in Book of Toro, an Indian chieftain in Buffalo Toro, a samurai in Toro Shogun, a gladiator in Gladiatoro, and even an Asgardian god in Thoro. It has been quite an adventure and I can’t wait to see the number 10!

Toro 911 fits perfectly into a series that can describe the whole background of ELK Studios. The spin-off comes as a modern echo of the initial Wild Toro, packed with new features and presenting once again the Diaz character. Wild Toro had a much better RTP, though, as the provider had a different strategy back then. However, Toro 911 comes with more than 4 times greater win cap.

It is actually the same as the Wild Toro 2 max win, which is the only true sequel to the original. The series of spin-offs has its agenda, as the bull was obviously cut loose and wanted to try different cultures. It was even affected by the gambling mania and participated in Toro 7s.
