As usual, Nolimit City is on the roll, and after releasing Blood Diamond earlier in April, the studio completed the monet with Highway to Hell. What is common between them? The Multiway mechanic and several special features, but the rest, well, it's in a completely different category! So, if the Ghost Rider comic book was one of your favorites and you enjoy games inspired by rock, skulls, tiers, and gasoline, this review is just for you!

In Highway to Hell, Evolution Gaming’s studio has squeezed 1,296 ways to win on a 6x4 grid. The bottom positions on reels 2, 3, 4, and 5 are occupied by initially locked Enhancer Cells. It's not mandatory to reveal high-valued or special symbols, and the logic in Highway to Hell is to multiply the symbols in view as much as possible.

Avasplit Effect

The Avasplit Effect is random but always active during the base game and free spins. On every cascade, some of the remaining symbols on the reels get the effect, and their size increases by +1. Thus, multiple cascades will deliver not only cash prizes but will enhance the grid's potential significantly.

Wilds & xNudge Wilds

The regular wild symbols and xNudge Wilds may land anywhere on the grid, and they can replace any of the high and low-valued characters. The xNudge Wilds need to be entirely visible on the reel. If one or many lands in partial view, they will start nudging up or down until they appear in full. Each nudge will increase the respective xNudge Wild multiplier by +1.

The xNudge Wilds can't nudge down on locked Enhance Cells. But if the nudge over a symbol already has a multiplier, it'll be added to the xNudge Wild current multipliers. Demon Symbol

Demons can land on any spin and in any position. It triggers if there are wins on the grid and after the paying symbols are removed. It will then remove a random number of size 1 symbols from the grid and will transform it into a random regular symbol with a multiplier equal to the removed symbols. If there are no wins during the spin, the Demon will transform into a regular symbol with a multiplier of x1.

xWays & xSplit

xWays symbols act as normal, and if one lands, it will transform into a regular or wild symbol. It will then reveal 2, 3, or 4 symbols of the same kind and this will also increase the ways to win.

xSplit symbols will split all symbols on its reel and will double their sizes. It will then convert into a wild symbol. xSplit symbols have the power to affect all types of symbols on the grid except scatters!

Hell Spins Bonus & Extra Spin Feature

Three scatters or Hellevator Booster in the base game will trigger the Free Spins bonus. The Hellevator Booster will persist until the end of the bonus minigame, regardless of whether it has landed at the trigger or during the bonus. Hell Spins starts with 8 free spins, and all scatters are collected after that in a Scatter Meter. Each batch of 3 scatters awards 2 extra free spins and an extra Hellevator Booster.

Hellevator Booster reveals a symbol that can't be absorbed by Demons, and if it participates in a winning combination, it'll be replaced. However, multipliers added by xNudge Wilds last until the end of the free spin. The Enhancer Cell symbols also reset.

Highway to Hell looks like it went out of a comic book, but a good one, with more creative artwork inspired by hell. The Rock ‘N’ Roll theme with hellish and fiery motifs is not the one to grasp at the beginning, but the nice tunes mixed with police sirens are pretty much what every biker has in mind every once in a while.

The smell of gasoline and burnt asphalt is almost sensible, although the background is surprisingly static and cartoonish. In general, the slot performs as every seasoned fan of Nolimit City would expect it to. Premium graphics, smooth animations, and flawless compatibility with desktop and mobile devices.

Highway to Hell is a solid slot game by a provider with a unique reputation.
