Once activated, the Ninja feature triggers after any pending refills, but before the next win evaluation. The Ninja then releases throwing stars that strike between 2 and 10 symbols on the grid. Any paying symbol hit by a throwing star is converted into a Wild, while any feature symbol that gets hit is activated instead. Throwing stars can’t land on an existing Wild or on a feature symbol that’s already been activated.

Cannon Symbols

The Cannon symbol starts out as a blocker, too, and can be activated by the Slice feature, by another Cannon, by an exploding Wild, or even by a throwing star from the Ninja feature.

When a Cannon activates, it triggers after any pending symbol refills but before the next win evaluation. It then shoots a pillar of Wilds straight upwards from its position. If the grid is still below 8 rows, this shot also expands the layout by one extra row, and once the Cannon finishes firing, it converts into a Wild itself.

There are also upgraded versions. The Golden Cannon behaves like a regular Cannon, but it always generates the highest possible Wild pillar, expanding the grid all the way up to the 8th row when needed. Finally, the Big Cannon is a 2x2 version of the feature, and it follows the same rules – except it always shoots a two-symbol-wide pillar of Wilds.

Slice

The Slice feature triggers when two identical symbols land on the first and last column on the same row. When that happens, the game cuts the affected symbols on that row, and this can apply to regular payout symbols, Bonus symbols, and even Wilds.

Ninja and Cannon symbols can’t be sliced – if the Slice hits them, it activates them instead, as mentioned before. Any other symbol that gets sliced is split into two half-sized symbols inside the same 1x1 position. Each half is treated as a normal symbol during evaluations. A sliced symbol can’t be sliced more than one time.

If the first and last column show the same symbol but in different sizes, it still counts as identical and can trigger Slice, but only the rows with matching symbols are affected. And when big symbols get caught in the Slice, they’re first broken down into 1x1 symbols before the cut is applied.

Ninja Drops

The Ninja Drops Bonus is triggered by landing 3 or more Bonus symbols. Hitting exactly three awards 6 Ninja Drops, and every extra Bonus symbol on the trigger adds +2 more Drops on top.
