After Fortune Factory smashed it out of the park with their original Gold Blitz, numerous Games Global partners have tried their luck with the popular concept. None of them has come close to dethroning the first game, however, although the popularity of the concept varies greatly from one region to the next. Ino Games has come up with an original theme for this release, which is also well executed, and this helps Hellfire Highway Gold Blitz slot stand out from the crowd.

The devil-may-care attitude of freedom this game radiates makes every spin feel like a rebellious joyride that’s going, undoubtedly, straight to hell - and fast. The AC/DC-inspired soundtrack only amplifies this notion, and the spin pace is excellent with the turbo maxed out. Ultimately, the appeal of this game hinges on whether you'll embrace another Gold Blitz release or find the concept has worn thin. Judging by the series’ popularity, many players continue to enjoy the formula, as most installments are performing well.

Personally, I am not a huge fan of the Gold Blitz range, but I did find the theme and gameplay of Hellfire Highway Gold Blitz quite enjoyable. Collecting cash and jackpot prizes in the base game is hardly original, but you don’t mind so much when you rake in the wins. What makes this series so popular is undoubtedly the Gold Blitz bonus round, where prize collection is guaranteed on each free spin. However, you don’t get all that many spins most of the time, and the bonus buy price tags reveal what you can expect on average.

The 5,000x potential is decent enough, but could’ve been bumped up to 10,000x to make more of a splash and stand out from the ever-growing pile of competitor releases.
