Wilds are collected in the familiar Big Bass manner. Every fourth collected Wild retriggers 10 extra free spins and applies a multiplier of 2x, 5x, or 10x after the first, second, and third retrigger. Each retriggered batch begins once the current set of spins ends.

The first retrigger activates Win Fetch, which selects a random payline and replaces every position on it with the same paying symbol. The second retrigger adds Can’t Lick It, transforming a random number of positions into copies of one paying symbol. The third retrigger introduces Can You Dig It, which changes random positions into groups of 3 Money values worth between 1x and 100x each. These values are then collected.

No further retriggers are available after the third upgrade. A separate random modifier may also activate when a Wild lands without any Money Symbols in view, adding Money Symbols to random grid positions.

Hold & Spin follows a familiar Hold n Win-style bonus structure. Three, four, or five Scatters open the round with a reserved multiplier of 1x, 3x, or 10x, respectively. A random number of Coin symbols is placed on the grid before the first respin.

Only blank spaces and sticky Coins worth 0.4x to 10x can land. The round starts with 3 respins, and each new Coin restores the counter to 3. Once the counter reaches zero, all Coin values are paid.

My main issue is the Golden Retriever itself. I understand the push for cuteness, although the oversized eyes and mouth give the dog an uncanny look. The paper-doll animation makes that impression even stronger. Maybe that reaction is just mine.

Sound design fares better, with an energetic soundtrack and fitting effects supporting the theme.

Its most interesting idea comes from the full-grid mechanic, since filling every position extends the feature instead of acting as a grand finale with one huge payout.

The math profile also leaves me underwhelmed. A 5,000x ceiling looks weak for a high-volatility slot, especially now that some medium-volatility games reach 10,000x. Golden Retriever gave me a decent test session, yet I am still waiting for Reel Kingdom’s next strong non-Bass release.
