Fighter Fire is a Fish Shooting game by JDB, although there are no fish or other marine inhabitants involved. The name comes from the category on the provider’s website and the commonly accepted term. After all, it is all the same: shoot at the targets on your screen and collect coins. Just make sure not to run out of ammo!

JDB or JDB Gaming is a well-established game developer from Vietnam established in 2010 and rebranded in 2018. The company was verified by GLI in 2020 and by BMM TestLabs in 2024. JDB operates mainly in Asia, but thanks to a cooperation with Spribe, it manages to set food in some European markets as well. The provider specializes in the development of online slots, table games, bingo, and Shooting arcades.

Fighter Fire is one of the latest releases in the latter category, and it offers a slightly different point of view. While most providers keep up with the Ocean-themed shooters, JDB has mixed the genre with an old-school air combat arcade. The second technical tool is the AIM button, which allows you to choose a specific target and let your cannon destroy it instead of clicking on it and risking missing a shot.

Fighter Fire offers a wide range of targets, from small airplanes to UFOs and even mythological creatures. Balloons are at the bottom of the paytable awarding 2x the bet, while Paper Airplanes pay 3x or 4x. Helicopters, planes, and space shuttles award between 5x and 10x, the bigger aircrafts, satellites, and UFO - 12x to 35x, while the powerful space destroyers in yellow award 50x and 60x the bet.

The most powerful creatures will require a lot of effort, but they can also pay massively. You’ll need to do critical damage to take down Shark Battleships (15x - 210x), Squid Battleships (15x - 210x), Giant UFO (20x - 1050x), and Bomber Core (60x - 1000x). The biggest threats out there are Tyrant Phoenix (50x - 5000x), Tyrant Crocodile (30x - 3200x), King Kong (5x - 1000x), and Armored Kong (5x - 10000x).

Fighter Fire Features

Fighter Fire is a multiplayer game and more than one participant may be active at the same time. Information about that will be seen on your screen. This is important because some targets can’t be taken down by one player. Indeed, you are risking someone taking your prize, but otherwise, you’ll have no chance against the bosses. Here are some special features added by JDB:

Evolved Battleships

When attacking Shark Battleships and Squid Battleships, you can trigger 3x, 5x, or 7x extra multipliers or critical hits. This will make the target evolve and each one has 3 different stages. The more evolved Battleships pay higher cash rewards, so shooting at them comes with an extra treat.

Super Bonus Game

Super Bonus Game comes in two modes and depends on each creature you've managed to kill. Tyrant Phoenix will award a random multiplier of x2 to x10, and will unleash a shock wave to hit all objects on the screen. Tyrant Crocodile awards a random number of attacks up to 5. Each one will award a random number of extra points or cash credits.

Bomber Raid & Bomber Core

Bomber Raid is a powerful attack on the entire screen, and you can use the feature once you fill out the meter on the left. Bomber Core can award an instant Bomber Raid if you manage to destroy the shield. Bomber Core can trigger the feature from 1 to 10 times, multiplying the effect massively.

UFO Wheel Bonus & Galeforce Bullet

Kill the UFO to activate a Bonus Wheel and win a random number of winning points. There is a chance to activate a critical hit, too, with an extra multiplier of x3, x5, or x7. Galeforce Bullet is the Extra Weapon I mentioned earlier. Think of it as an ante bet, as it increases the energy collection by 200% and increases the shooting efficiency.

Beam Cannon & Anti-Armor Bullets

Beam Cannon can be won randomly by shooting at helicopters that carry small blue bubbles. They pay 5x when destroyed but also award this powerful weapon, which will destroy almost everything within a range of attack. If you shoot at purple bubbles carried by those whirlybird, you can activate the Anti-Armor Bullets and get 30 free bullets.

Weapon Bonus & Super Energy

If you use the free Anti-Armor Bullets to shoot at the same targets and manage to destroy any, you will not get extra free bullets. Instead, you will get boosted payouts of 25x (blue) and 15x (purple), instead of 5x. Shooting with the Galeforce Bullet may grant Super Energy, which will instantly charge the Bomber Raid meter and thus, you’ll get a Free Weapon.

Exclusive Boss Map

King Kong may randomly appear in its regular or armored form and launch an exclusive feature. The monster will start wreaking havoc in the city, and you and all other active players must join forces to take him down. Besides paying up to a gigantic 10,000x, this creature can award multiple smaller rewards and help you charge the Bomber Raid meter quicker.

Fighter Fire is one of the best-looking and most generous Fish Shooting games by JDB. It comes with a payout potential comparable with Fishing Legend (10,000x) and Shade Dragons Fishing (9,000x). However, the vibrant atmosphere, realistic audio-visuals, and exclusive features make it much more electrifying.

Perhaps I can only compare it with Space Hunter Shoot For Cash by Playtech, although there, the max win and features are halved. In any case, Fighter Fire isn’t for every gambler, but only for those who appreciate the genre. There are many pros and cons discussed over the years, but nobody denies the pulse-racing essence of these shoot-outs.
