A random high-valued symbol will be selected and the 5 central positions of the board will display it. The neighboring crates will disappear and 3 respins are granted.

Blanks, increments of the selected symbol, Level Up, and Multiplier Symbols can appear during this phase. Whenever one of them, except blanks, lands, the respin counter will be reset. Multiplier Symbols are also sticky, and each one comes with a multiplier of x2 to x100. Level Up upgrades the payout symbol to the next higher substitute.

Thus, the cluster combination can severely increase in value: first via the new matching symbols, second via the multipliers, and third via the symbol-progressing system. Farmstead Fortune surprises in several ways and presents a simpler version of other Cluster Pays games. In fact, the competition is massive here as there are plenty of brilliant online slots with such a core mechanic and theme. I can list a few: Hop N Pop, Milk The Cow, and Rabbit Garden by top-rated providers, but there are so many others. Still, PG Soft has prepared a decent challenger as well.

First, I must highlight the lightweight gameplay with first-class audio-visuals and a solid math formula. Indeed, volatility can be high at moments, but the RTP and win cap of 10,000x compensate fairly. The lack of cascades in a Cluster Pays package is a pity, but I’m confident that the provider has simply tried to lighten up the gameplay. Potential cascades would require a modifier, like multipliers perhaps, while thus, the script opens up for the Mini Bonus.

The random minigame may look too simple, but it heats up the player for the upcoming Bonus Feature. I like the way it is organized with constantly revealing new positions where symbols can land.
