Blueprint’s prolific Cash Strike series has come a long way since the original Cash Strike was released in 2024, and the first Cash Strike Hotstepper installment followed a few months later. While Cash Strike Hotstepper Megaways added the popular dynamic grid engine to the mix, Cash Strike Hotstepper 2 delivers more of the same as the first game but with multiple additional features to spice things up even more.

You start by choosing your preferred bet level between €0.10 and €500 per spin, catering to both penny punters, high rollers, and anyone in between. Cash Strike Hotstepper 2 plays out on the same 3x3 grid as before, with 5 paylines criss-crossing the reels. You win by landing 3 matching symbols on a payline, and the classic fruit machine symbols award 1x to 50x your stake for 3 of a kind. The triple 7 Wild symbol is the highest payer of the bunch, and also substitutes for any other pay symbol.

Our Verdict

Blueprint’s Cash Strike series is turning into a tree with many branches, and Cash Strike Hotstepper 2 follows relatively closely in the footsteps of the original Cash Strike Hotstepper. The fruity visuals and funky soundtrack haven’t changed, which is not surprising since most fruit slots tend to look similar anyway. Both games feature a supernova backdrop that adds a cosmic flair to the classic slot machine action, but Blueprint has added a few new features to the pile in this follow-up release.

If you enjoyed the first game, chances are you will fall in love with this sequel too, but it might take you a while to gain an overview of all the features. Playing our free Cash Strike Hotstepper 2 demo helps with that, as only reading about the mechanics with no hands-on experience can make your head spin. As before, the gameplay revolves around cash collection, and you get more help than ever before in this regard. The added super strike feature comes in addition to the regular hotstepper mechanic, boosting your wins and cash prize collection chances.

In addition, the mystery symbol jackpot feature increases your chances of landing one of the jackpots, which is appreciated. The gold strike feature is another random helper that comes in handy when you least expect it, like it did in the first game. While I’m not a huge fan of this series myself, I did have a good time testing the Cash Strike Hotstepper 2 slot.
