Blueprint has clearly poured some effort into Almighty Mustang Express to make it stand out a bit from the many similar games out there. The golden train speeding through the desert and the Western soundtrack create an enjoyable atmosphere that elevates the experience above your average hold & win Wild West slot game. I also like that you can choose between 3 different spin speeds, with the middle option being my preferred choice for this game.

The Express Bet option seems like a good idea, but it always bugs me when the provider does not disclose the hit rate increase you pay extra for. With so much regulation in this business, one would think that disclosing such an important stat would be mandatory by now, but apparently not. Still, it seemed to help me trigger the Cash Lock feature, as 6 cash symbols landed not too long after I turned on the ante bet.

I also like that the Train is not just there for show. It can actually be quite helpful in the Almighty Mustang Express slot, delivering cash prize, cash pot, train, wild, and bonus symbols randomly as you play. It can even trigger the Almighty Mustang Express Feature, which is the main attraction of this game. The regular Cash Lock feature is more of a standard hold & win bonus, offering decent cash and cash pot prizes and an okay full-grid jackpot.

The free spins bonus seems a tad superfluous in Almighty Mustang Express, as I would’ve preferred the payouts to be concentrated on the hold & win bonus rounds. Expanding wilds are okay, but what you really hope for is the Cash Lock trigger. The Almighty Mustang Express Feature could’ve upped the ante with a larger full-grid jackpot instead of the mediocre 500x prize. However, it is what it is. Overall, Almighty Mustang Express is worth a try, but hardly something that will stand the test of time.
