Take The Vault slot is a massive upgrade of Betsoft’s masterpiece from 2019 Take The Bank. The new game was launched in February and takes us back in time to the Wild West described in the novels of famous writers like Zane Grey and Louis L'Amour. The action is about to take place in a small town in the middle of nowhere, so let's begin!

Take The Vault is based on Spin Cycle mechanics and is a wonderful continuation of the provider’s series. In 2021, Betsoft released Take The Kingdom and about 6 months after Take The Vault, the studio came with another installment - Take The Shot. As you can see, they all feature different themes but similar structures, bonus features, and payouts.

A fearless Bandit with an obvious passion for cigars is next to the gid, waiting to detonate the TNT. That happens every 10 rounds, but keep in mind that the progressive sequence is linked to the selected bet. Although the slot saves the progression for each stake level, changing the wager will disrupt the process.

Unlike Take The Bank, Take The Vault game comes with a much better visual representation, which includes graphics, artwork, and animations. The Robbery genre line matches the selected Wild West theme, and I personally like the sound effects more. After all, a 5-year gap separates the titles!

Progressive Feature

Take The Vault casino slot plays in cycles of 10 spins, and at the end of each one, all TNT overlay symbols in view convert into wilds for a potentially big win. The Detonator Countdown progression starts with a spin, and during the cycle, Bandit symbols turn into TNT overlays.

After the 10 progressive rounds and the wilds' detonation, the Detonator Countdown is reset back to 10, and another sequence starts. Take The Vault Betsoft set a new stage for Betsoft affinity to cycle slot mechanics. Equipped with new technologies and resources, the top-tier provider presented not 1 but 2 titles from the series in 2024. And the year is far from being over, so new challenges may be ahead!

On the positive, Take The Vault provides a dynamic gambling experience with plenty of opportunities to cash out heavy payouts. However, keep in mind that the sneaky Bandit seems to like reels 4 and 5 more than 1, 2, and 3. That could be an issue at the detonation moment and may leave you with empty hands.

The Wild West Bandits slot is another 2024 spinning game, but this time released by Wizard Games. It shares themes and mechanics similar to the title in the review focus. But unlike Betsoft's game, it comes with lower volatility and a much more enticing max win capped at 10,000x the bet.

If you want to compare Take The Vault with an older alternative, here is Bronco Spirit, launched in 2020 by Pragmatic Play. It suggests a quite similar engine, given the same layout, paylines, spin cycles, and close max win. Players can count on milder volatility and different Free Spins modes with roaming wilds.

Take The Vault is far from being unique, but offers a huge bonus pack that is usually unavailable. Most providers choose to add Free Spins or Hold & Win, but rarely both in addition to the guaranteed (more or less) wilds at every 10th spin.
