We found Cleopatra Megaways to be a well-balanced game overall, since you get the random modifiers in the base game. Many developers rely too much on the Megaways engine alone when it comes to the base game, so it’s always refreshing when you get something more than the standard cascading mechanic. Wilds boost wins by x2 in this game as well, which is never wrong, and the ancient Egypt presentation is not too shabby either. We have seen similar themes countless times before, of course, but that’s the nature of this business.

You get action commentary from Cleopatra when the wild symbol partakes in a win, but hearing her say “twice as nice” each time did get annoying after a while. The random modifiers didn’t trigger all that often in our experience, but perhaps we had a “bad day”.
