Rico DJ is another sequel to the Rico Series directed by the Maltese provider PopOK Gaming. This vibrant online slot was introduced in the middle of May, along with another title from the same series. It comes with disco vibes, exciting features, and the highest win potential so far, at least compared to the other Rico games.

PopOK Gaming somehow remains in the iGaming periphery, although it was founded in 2019 and operates from its headquarters in Malta. Rico DJ is a party animal and is ready to bring the disco vibes to your screens. It offers the luxury package - music, rhythm, wild multipliers, and a huge win potential. Pretty much all Rico Gorila offers, without the Mystery Jackpot System. The RTP rate is also much lower, and it's controversial which is better: the higher max win or that rate!

I would say that 99 players out of a hundred will choose the high RTP, so yeah, that's a minus. Moreover, the rate continues to drop, as it was 96.96% with the Gorila and 96.37% with Rico Rabbit. The second 2025 sequel to the series has a slightly different concept: a smaller grid, fewer paylines, and no features.

Rico DJ is far from being innovative, and actually, that is the slot's biggest drawback. A number of mobile-first studios have similar or exactly the same titles in their repertoires. Lucky Tiger by Fat Panda is an excellent example, and it boasts 96.50% RTP with medium volatility and multipliers of up to x25 for a full screen of the same symbol. A Respin Feature is also available, and it's identical to the one in Rico DJ.

Lucky Tiger is a 2025 slot, just like Fortune Snake, but this incredibly vibrant title of PG Soft is characterized by low volatility. Furthermore, it has a payout rate of 96.75% and pays up to 5,000x. It has the same layout and feature set and a very similar theme, symbol design, and overall vibe. Bonus Bet is the cherry on the cake!

Lucky Jaguar is also a game I recommend to all players who like the Rico series. It was crafted by TaDa Gaming and launched at the end of 2024, but a continuation is scheduled for release in June. It has even better RTP than the other alternatives exampled so far - 97.14%. Wild multipliers, an Extra Multiplier Bonus, and a Respin Feature are also part of the script.

As you can see, there is very little that is unique in Rico DJ, but it's rather following the trend for PopOK Gaming. That doesn't make the title bad; on the contrary, Rico DJ is an awesome way to spend some time gambling. The betting range and frequent features mixed with party beats can be the perfect way to relax and pocket some winnings!
