Puffer Stacks is a beautifully-designed online slot crafted by the boutique studio Titan Gaming and launched in March. It is one of a growing number of spinning machines by the provider, packed with the unique Bonus Buy Battle. Fishnets can attract Pearl Symbols as well, but only if there are at least 4 around the board.

Bonus Game

Wilds, 3, 4, or 5 in view after the last cascade will activate the Bonus Game with 6, 8, or 10 free spins, respectively. The +FS symbol may appear during the minigame, and each one will award 1 or 2 extra free spins. At the start, Wilds and Pearls will be locked on their positions, and the others will be removed and replaced by Dead symbols.

Only special symbols may land during the bonus minigame, and every new Wild adds 2 extra rounds. At the end, any cluster of 5 or more symbols pays the Pearl values multiplied by the wild multipliers if any.

Puffer Stacks utilizes a marvelous Underwater theme with cartoonish artwork and visual effects. The audio is nice without being lavish in any way, and the graphics are crisp. Here, the Carrot Gaming touch is more easily felt, along with the relation between the providers. The audio-visual appearance of the slot is quite similar to Massive Studios games.

Puffer Stacks definitely sets the bar high for one of the newest slot studios on the market. Although Titan Gaming might be merged or absorbed, for the time being, it remains an intriguing brand. Regardless of who the masterminds behind the project are, the execution is of premium quality and I do not appraise only the unique Battle Bonus Buy. The wonderful mix of visual presentation and balanced features will excite every true slot aficionado.

If we compare Puffer Stacks to Juice Monster, the gameplay is significantly improved, although the technical indicators are identical. An interesting fact is that these two titles and the 3 between them have the same RTP - 96.34%. WWW or Wild West Wins comes with high volatility, just like Underworld, but entirely different sets of features.

Dragon Fiesta has a more moderate variance and fewer ways to win - 16. Nevertheless, the game comes with more than impressive modifiers, like nudging stacked wilds, respins, multipliers, Bonus Buy, and a bonus minigame.
