When you play and review as many slot games as I do in any given month, it’s easy to get blind to the fact that many players are totally new to the world of online gambling. They have fresh eyes with a beginner's mind, and will therefore see any game differently than a seasoned veteran like myself. I always try to shed as much of my bias as I can, and that ability was put to the test when reviewing the Prosperity Tiger slot. Not least since I’ve been playing so many similar games lately.

Anyway, putting myself in the shoes of a new player, I can obviously see the appeal of this game. The tiger mascot character is charming, the visuals are pleasing to the eye, and the game speed is on point with the turbo switched on. You can savor each spin with the default spin speed or plow through hundreds of spins in minutes with the turbo maxed out. The default or medium spin speed option is probably best for new players; otherwise, your bankroll may unravel too fast for your own good.

Prosperity Tiger has a joyful vibe that’s hard not to enjoy, even for experienced players, but I get that not everyone is a fan of Asian-themed games. The antics of the tiger get a bit too repetitive too fast, at least in my opinion, as its vocabulary is limited. In general, I also prefer that such characters be placed either above or to the side of the reels. They should not compete too much for your attention. Also, Rectangle Games should consider splitting the sound effects and the soundtrack for their slots, allowing players to keep one and not the other, if they want.

The gameplay loop is simple enough. You get plenty of dead spins with some small to decent top-up wins sprinkled in between for good measure. The streak Respins feature did not trigger as often as I initially thought it would, and acts more like a regular bonus round than a frequent base game modifier. It’s definitely your best shot at filling the screen to benefit from the x10 win multiplier, though, and things can get tense when you get close.
