High Noon Demo & Slot Review

High Noon (TaDa Gaming) Review

With High Noon, developer TaDa Gaming ventures into the Western genre, inviting players to take part in a midday shootout. The tension is high, and so are the possible payouts, provided by simple but powerful gameplay features. I’ll cover everything worth knowing below in this High Noon slot review. So, put on your Stetson – we’re riding into the Wild West.

TaDa Gaming – Slot Developer

TaDa Gaming is one of those studios that has quietly turned into a regular name in casino lobbies over the last few years. They’ve been around since roughly 2019 and have been steadily building their reach – initially targeting Asia and broadening their footprint over the years, now shifting to regulated markets such as the UK and the US. At the time of writing, the studio portfolio boasts more than 220 games. Worth noting is that TaDa isn’t just a narrowly focused slot supplier. Their catalogue branches into instant games, crash-style formats, bingo, table content, and a whole batch of fishing-shooting games, which gives them more room to target different audiences.

Slot Theme and Graphics

High Noon is deeply inspired by Spaghetti Westerns, as TaDa Gaming itself points out on the official website. This is a separate subgenre of Western cinema that was shot largely by Italian directors in Europe during the 1960s and 1970s. These films are known for their gritty atmosphere and dramatic scores – and that is exactly what the High Noon slot machine aims to recreate.

Once the game loads, we find ourselves inside a classic Wild West saloon. The place looks deserted, apart from an imposing cowboy standing beside the reels with a pistol in each hand, ready to pull the trigger at any moment. And he does occasionally open fire when the bonus features come into play, but I’ll return to that shortly.

High Noon Rules and Gameplay

Dominating the view is a wood-framed grid made up of 5 reels and 4 rows. The rules are conventional – symbols pay from left to right, starting on the leftmost reel, and at least 3 matching instances are needed to form a winning combination. There are 14 fixed paylines in total.

The betting range follows TaDa Gaming’s usual limits, beginning at €0.20 per spin and reaching €200. Where permitted by local regulations, the High Noon online slot also includes a bonus bet and a bonus buy option, which can technically push the total cost of a round even higher.

High Noon Bonus Features

I’ve already mentioned that the cowboy periodically fires a shot or two, and this is the core mechanic in TaDa Gaming’s High Noon slot. When it happens, Wild symbols are added to random positions across the reels. Some of them may also arrive with multiplier values attached, giving the resulting wins a significant boost.

Revolver Symbols

Revolver drum symbols can appear on any reel. They are randomly loaded with 1 to 6 bullets, which are shot one after another at the grid until the drum is empty. Any symbol hit by a bullet transforms into a Wild. Once a Revolver runs out of bullets, it transforms into a Wild itself too.

If the same position is shot more than once, the Wild also receives a random multiplier and becomes a Multiplier Wild. Possible values range from x2 to a whopping x200. When several Multiplier Wilds contribute to the same win, their values are added together.

Reload Feature

After all Revolver symbols on the reels have fired their bullets, the Reload feature may trigger at random. When it does, each Revolver is loaded again with between 1 and 6 bullets and immediately fires another round of shots.

Free Spins

Scatter symbols can appear on any reel, and landing 3 at the same time triggers the High Noon free spins feature with 10 initial spins.

The Revolver mechanic remains active throughout the round. However, any Multiplier Wild carrying a value of x2 or greater becomes sticky and stays in place until the feature ends. Additional FS symbols can extend the bonus:

• 2 Scatter symbols – award 2 extra free spins.
• 3 Scatter symbols – award 4 extra free spins.

High Noon RTP, Volatility and Max Win

High Noon is balanced extremely well on paper. The volatility is in the medium range, rated by the devs 3 out of 5. Wins occur at a respectable rate of 24.35%, which translates to every 4 spins on average, and can reach up to 10,000x the stake. What's most impressive is the RTP, which is set at a remarkable 97%.

High Noon Strategy and Tips

This TaDa Gaming slot runs on an RNG, so there is no special High Noon strategy that can guarantee profits. Still, a few basic tips can help you manage your balance:

• Try the High Noon demo first to understand the Revolver mechanic, Multiplier Wilds, and free spins.
• Use the bonus bet and bonus buy options carefully, as both increase the cost of play.
• Set a budget in advance and never increase your stake to recover previous losses.
• Play only at licensed High Noon casinos listed on SlotCatalog.

Pros and Cons of TaDa Gaming’s High Noon Slot

Final Thoughts

High Noon is a nice Western slot from TaDa Gaming. The gameplay is straightforward, but everything runs like a Swiss watch. The Revolver mechanic is super simple but can become surprisingly powerful once Multiplier Wilds start appearing.

The design is also well executed, even if there is nothing particularly extraordinary about it. Add in the medium volatility, 10,000x win cap, and especially the excellent 97% RTP, and High Noon shapes up as a decent entry in the Wild West genre.
