Fortune Tarta comes across as a fairly typical Asian-themed slot, but the cute turtle character injects a bit of personality to the mix, which goes a long way. Its vocabulary could admittedly have been better, though, as you may get tired of hearing “nice!” repeated for every little win. Still, the game would’ve been a completely different experience without this adorable creature keeping you company.

The classic 3x3 layout works fine for a low volatility effort like Fortune Tarta, and it adds to the overall charm of the game. I also like that you can pull the reels to spin them either upwards or downwards as you see fit. It’s a minor detail, perhaps, but it feels like a little Easter egg when you first discover it. I also like that you can choose between 3 spin speed settings, and I recommend the super turbo setting for the best possible flow in this game.

PopOK Gaming has decided to keep things simple also in the feature department, with basically no base game features to speak of. However, it’s worth noting that Wild symbols not only substitute for pay symbols but are also high-value symbols that can deliver payouts of up to 250x for a full screen win.
