This time, I decided to google Fortune Cat and came across a legend tied to Gotoku-ji Temple. Word has it, Lord Ii Naotaka once took shelter near a temple during a storm. Finally, I can sum up. Fortune Cat will be a riveting option for Japanese-themed slot fans or for new blood in gambling. As for me, the legend behind it was more compelling than the game itself. Sure, a 10,000x win potential sounds tempting, but endlessly spinning the reels hoping a bonus symbol finally drops to activate the Free Game function (where all the real action happens) feels like a pretty weak concept. By and large, the Fortune Cat lands somewhere in the middle for me.
