Our Verdict

This is hardly the first time Pragmatic Play invites you to a good old Mexican fiesta in slot form, and we doubt it will be the last. Fiesta Fortune is lively enough in its presentation, but the theme cannot escape coming across as a bit of a cliché. You get the sense that Pragmatic can whip up a theme like this in their sleep. However, it still gets the job done, transporting you to an exotic culture with spicy food and fiery senoritas.

The guitar-based soundtrack is pleasant, and the game has a mood-lifting effect in a somewhat superficial way. Don’t expect much from the regular line wins in this game, though, but you do get smaller wins relatively quite frequently to keep you going between features. The skull money respins feature can perhaps seem a bit complicated when you read about it, but it makes sense as soon as you’ve experienced it a few times.

Basically, the skull money symbols can trigger the respins feature in both the base game and the free spins round, awarding a taste of what the fully fledged Money Respins feature offers. In the base game, this feature is responsibly for any significant payouts, at least in my experience.
