Chicken Zap Game Review
Chicken Zap, the newest online casino game by Turbo Games, is scheduled for release in the first half of September. The impudent aliens that we have already seen in farm-like slots are once again on Earth, and this time, they are destroying chicks. I can’t really understand what could possibly be the reason for this hatred, but it could turn out to be profitable.
Turbo Games is an innovative iGaming developer with a passion for the Crash mechanic. Unlike most studios out there focusing on slots, this one creates instant-win arcades. Crash X and Bayraktar are some of the highest-rated titles of Turbo Games, but you’ll also find categories, like Plinko, Mines, Keno, Dice, and more.
Chicken Zap presents a chicken at the start of a road made of hay bales. Each one could be an alien trap, and if you get into it, the flying saucer on top will zap the poor thing. But every jump is worth it since if the chick stays alive, the corresponding prize will be awarded. Each jump increases the risk, but also increases the reward!

Chicken Zap comes with 3 difficulty levels - Easy, Medium, and Hard. You can switch between modes at the end of every round. They will change the odds and prizes on the trail, so make your choice wisely. The game comes with multiple stake levels between €0.10 and €100. Whenever you are ready, hit the big green button to start.
The Chicken Zap RTP ranges and the rate is 94.11%, 95.97%, and 96.27% for each of the difficulty tiers. So, after all, the riskiest mode comes with the highest return to player percentage. Volatility of this game is adjusted and plays no significant role. The maximum win also varies from one mode to another and it’s 24x on Easy, 2,208x on Medium, and 50,000x on Hard.
At the same time, the maximum exposure is €10,000, so if you are playing with high bets, consider the fact that some of the highest multipliers won’t pay. The Easy, Medium, and Hard trails consist of 24, 22, and 20 hay bales, respectively. This could also be a crucial factor for your performance. Surprisingly, Chicken Zap lacks Autoplay and any other technical features, except for sound controls.
Chicken Zap Features
Step Multiplier Games do not usually come with bonus features or modifiers, and that’s part of their charm. Chicken Zap makes no exception and offers a simple and straightforward gameplay, where cashing out before the alien zap is essential. You can do that via the large Cash Out tab that will appear after the first successfully collected multiplier.
This option ranks the game in the strategy category and opens a whole new universe of opportunities. Just don’t forget that the cheeky aliens can fry the chicken on the first jump. Chicken Zap is part of the provider’s Free Bets in-game promotion. Turbo Games can provide such on any time, and players who claim them will have the chance to play for free.
Free Bets is available in the game’s menu, as it stays on top of other documents, like rules and limits. Just click on it to see if there are any gifts available! The same menu provides access to the My Bets section, where you can track your performance and eventually use the data as a base for a new strategy.

Theme & Graphics
Chicken Zap is another game of this type that puts the funny farm animals in risky situations. Despite the few experiments, most game developers seem to prefer the Chickens theme for Step Multiplier arcades. The graphics here are of the finest quality, while the animations and audio effects are rather generic.
The trail made of hay bales takes up the center of the screen, while dark skies and mountains are on the back. The gameplay is smooth and pleasant in both landscape and portrait mode. That, of course, is if you decide to go mobile. Chicken Zap is an HTML5 game that is compatible with all devices, browsers, and operating systems.

Our Verdict
Chicken Zap continues a series of games that seem the same but actually differ from each other. In this particular case, we have 3 engines in one, with different layouts, prizes, max prizes, and even RTP rates. That is quite an original and I don’t think another Step Multiplier game offers this detail for the time being.
Not long ago, SlotCatalog and Evoplay presented a co-project - Uncrossable Rush, utilizing SlotCatalog’s CrossyRun mechanic. The game pays up to 10,000x, which may look lower than Chicken Zap’s 50,000x, but it’s actually the same. The cap of €10,000 that Turbo Games sets in most of its releases is a company policy, but could also be seen as a flaw.
Chicken Road and Chicky Run were the first Crash arcades of the type released in the first half of 2024 by InOut Games and PG Soft. It’s unnecessary to say that they had tremendous success and set the foundation of a new iGaming genre. Chicken Road 2.0 was released only a few months ago.
But Chicken Zap brings new vibes to the group, as it is no longer crossing any roads, but jumping from one bale to another, escaping aliens. Well, technically, the game only lacks more sophisticated technical features, like Autoplay, for example. It might take a while before we see any bonus features in this genre, so strategy experts, it’s your turn!
