These multipliers are random for each new step as well, but they also increase in value for each new step. This is how you increase your total win, but you need to cash out before you hit the so-called final multiplier.

Hidden Final Multiplier

The Final Multiplier is a hidden multiplier limit that’s randomly assigned for each round. You cannot know what this Final Multiplier value is up front, but you will notice it when your accumulated bet multiplier value exceeds the Final Multiplier. What happens then is that the chicken is hit by a train, and the round is over. This is how you go bust in Chicken Subway, and you then have to start over from scratch again. Also, all your accumulated winnings from that round are lost.

Theme & Graphics

Chicken Subway drops you right into the action on the 3-lane tracks, with the chicken running continuously as long as the round lasts. Despite the title of this game, this is not really a subway as the train tracks run beneath a clear, blue sky with lush green trees on either side. Blue signs are lowered into view to give you a visible hint of which way to choose, and these signs also display the bet multiplier each path represents. Choose the right path to see the chicken thrive, but a single wrong choice equals a fatal meeting with the front of a train.

Our Verdict

Chicken Subway adds another poultry-centric crash-style game to the pile, and I really don’t understand why providers cannot cast other creatures in this hazardous role. Personally, I’m not a huge fan of chicken noise, and there was more than enough to go around in this game. Sure, you can turn off the sound if you feel the same, but then you’ll also turn off the energetic and catchy soundtrack. That feels like a loss, as the game is a lot more engaging with that tune carrying you along the tracks.

Also, it’s about time someone adds a bonus round of some kind to spice this concept up a bit. It shouldn't be that hard to come up with something that rewards daredevils for staying in the game without cashing out early. In my experience, this is sorely needed in Chicken Subway, as I was hit by the train after a few steps almost every time. Not all that motivating with nothing to reach for other than a slightly higher bet multiplier.

Compared to similar games, at least you have 3 choices in this game, which makes it stand out a bit. However, Chicken Subway will teach you very quickly that being greedy and going for the juiciest bet multiplier often leads to an early grave. This is my main frustration with these types of games. With regular slot games, you're always motivated to see what’s around the next corner, as it could be a bonus round or a big win. In Chicken Subway, the light at the end of the tunnel is almost certainly a train.

Going for the max win is basically insane, and even a big win requires nerves of steel and a massive bankroll. My best advice for this game is to cash out early almost all the time, which kind of defeats the purpose since we all play to win big. This is why I avoid crash games as much as possible outside of reviewing them. Even with an RTP of 98%, you’ll most likely break the bank before getting rich from Chicken Subway. However, if you’re craving a simple, streamer-friendly experience, that’s exactly what this game delivers.
