Blazing Bonanza Rush Express is as good an entry into the Area Vegas catalog as any, and it showcases the two features this provider keeps returning to. The high-octane Wild West gold fever vibe is going strong all the way, not least thanks to the powerful soundtrack. We are not talking about earth-shaking innovation here, but the Rush Express feature does come with some original twists that I haven’t seen from other providers.

The trademarked Rush Express innovation is the studio's bread and butter, after all, and Area Vegas clearly has a thing for trains in a Wild West setting. The rivers of lava or gold flowing in the foreground go well together with the fiery locomotive and symbols, but under the hood, the engine remains familiar. It’s humming with the same volatile rhythm that can either deliver a freight train of wins or leave you stranded at the station.

The pace of the game is decent, but it could’ve been even faster with the turbo switched on. The turbo option is hiding in the autospin menu, by the way, and I prefer a more visible turbo spin button myself. The Blazing Bonanza wild symbols tend to land in stacks, but the base game mostly offers smaller regular wins, with or without wilds involved.
