CR Games is back with another installment in their long-winded money-themed series, and Big Banker Pots follows closely in the footsteps of its predecessor, Big Banker. Other notable installments are Big Banker Megaways and Big Banker Deluxe. The photorealistic visuals of luxury items are the same as before, but this time there are 3 different jackpots up for grabs.

You start by choosing your preferred bet level, ranging from €0.10 to €100 per spin in the Big Banker Pots slot. You win by landing matching symbols across up to 10 paylines, starting from the leftmost reel towards the right. The symbols, consisting of gold watches, champagne bottles, coins, banknote stacks, and diamonds, pay 10x to 50x your stake for 5 of a kind wins. The top-paying golden safe symbol also pays 1x your stake for 2 of a kind, while the remaining symbols pay for 3, 4, and 5 of a kind.

Big Banker Pots is one of those slots that feels like a time capsule from a brick-and-mortar casino. CR Games is well-known for their Big Banker series, with the original game released all the way back in 2014. Visually, not much has changed in this follow-up, and the focus is still on luxury items wrapped in a nostalgia-evoking retro package. If you liked the first game and other installments in this series, chances are you’ll enjoy Big Banker Pots as well.

The base game churns along at a decent pace, and the charming spin melody goes a long way in making up for the lack of features. Granted, you do get the occasional respins and reel nudges, but to be honest, these features seldom lead to anything significant. The best you can hope for from these random features is help triggering the bonus round. Sure, they may deliver small to decent top-up wins here and there, but overall, big wins are not to be expected from the base game of Big Banker Pots.

The defining characteristic of this "Pots" installment is, unsurprisingly, the inclusion of the Mini, Major, and Mega jackpots. The base game features have also changed compared to the original game, so this is not really a remake clone except for the almost identical visuals. The bonus round is definitely more worthwhile because of these jackpots, which can deliver prizes of up to 5,000x your stake. Still, 10 seconds can be over quickly, and often you get only measly prizes to show for it.

My biggest issue with this release is the lack of transparency. This seems to be an overall problem with CR Games’ titles. Neither the RTP, max win, nor volatility level is disclosed, which forces players to either go in blind or reject the whole thing, not unlike the Bank or Reject mechanic this game is all about. If you’re a big fan of this type of bonus round, as well as retro nostalgia slots, Big Banker Pots may be the answer to your dreams. Personally, I steer clear of games where none of the most relevant stats are disclosed.
