However, BGaming has instead delivered a unique experience that’s more akin to traditional slot games, given the randomized nature of each round. How to Play

Since there is no cashout timing involved, the strategy side is less about reactions and more about keeping your session structured. Once the plane takes off, the round unfolds on its own, so the decisions you make before pressing Play matter the most.

• Select a single game speed before you start and keep it for the entire run to maintain a steady rhythm.

Our Verdict

Being taken by surprise by a game is always a good start, as long as the surprise is a positive one. That’s definitely the case with Aviamasters. I was anticipating another Aviator clone, of which there have been many that failed to innovate or offer anything truly new. BGaming, however, is known for their unique approach. With the Aviamasters game, they've successfully bridged the gap between Crash-style games and traditional slots.

My main issue with Crash games is the lack of randomness and genuine surprises. These games encourage a repetitive grind of early cashouts, as longer flights are too risky and usually result in a loss. Aviamasters breaks this mold. The game encourages you to cheer on the little propeller plane as it strives for greater distances, making each round feel exciting and unpredictable. I even found myself tracking each round's distance, aiming to surpass personal records.

This leads to what I believe is a missed opportunity, namely the lack of a round history feature. A log of distances traveled and win/loss outcomes would’ve been perfect for this game, enabling players to celebrate their achievements and compete with friends. Regarding game speed, I found the "human" icon (level 2 of 4) to be the sweet spot. The faster options were too frantic, while the "turtle" setting is best reserved for savoring those exceptional moments mid-flight.

Another potential improvement for future installments would be a replay function for your top rounds, allowing players to relive their most successful flights. Overall, Aviamasters is a refreshing release that I found highly enjoyable. It's perfect when you need to kill some time and offers a welcome alternative to the often discouraging Crash games. The low 250x max win might deter some players, but massive payouts are not really the main attraction in a game like this anyway.
