While not as controversial as many other titles from NoLimit City, AFK Airport Security captures the claustrophobic horror of modern-day air travel and terminal checkpoints with a dark, satirical, and hilarious fingerspitzengefühl. The shock value may not be through the roof this time, although the big win story is a nasty one, but everyone can recognize the awkwardness and slight sense of paranoia you feel going through these checkpoints, even if you’re squeaky clean. This gives AFK Airport Security a universal appeal, unlike the most grotesque NLC releases.

You may feel a bit overwhelmed and even exhausted from all the insanity going on when a bunch of random features trigger, but the trick is to not get caught up in trying to understand everything. Just lean back and enjoy the show instead. Activated features are highlighted on the feature icon trail above the grid, and after a while, you may be able to recognize them as they play out. Either way, it’s hard to complain about the amount of bang for your buck, although some may feel it’s over the top.

The key to larger wins is getting multiple features to trigger one after another, something the 12-Mile High Club feature buy clearly demonstrates. If you want to see how the big win story ends, purchasing this feature during demo gameplay will most likely get you there within a few tries. When the dust settles, the win counter will make it clear how you fared.
