NetGame stays true to their somewhat dated and generic visual style, and Wolf Reels Rapid Links follows in the footsteps of their less-than-memorable 2019 release, Wolf Reels. Not much has been changed in the visual department, but they have moved the grid up a few notches, so the majestic mountain in the background becomes more visible above the treetops.

The most obvious change is the “bolted on” Rapid Links feature, which is a hold-and-win style respins game with 4 unlockable upper rows and 4 jackpot symbols worth up to 1,000x your stake. The bonus round comes with the same options of spins and wild multiplier values, but the RTP has been lowered (and adjustable RTP ranges are now included), while the 4,368x max win has been upped a bit.

NetGame hasn’t done all that much for Wolf Reels Rapid Link to stick out from the similar run-of-the-mill releases we see plenty of every month, except, perhaps, giving the hold-and-win style feature yet another name. The visual presentation is mediocre and somewhat dated, and the soundtrack is more suitable for a smoke-filled jazz club than a Native American-infused installment.

You get to choose between 4 options in the bonus round (plus the mystery option), and it’s hard to tell which one is the best choice. The hold-and-win style Rapid Link feature comes with some rows to unlock and a decent line-up of jackpots, but we’ve seen similar things many times before. There is nothing here that triggers any urge to return to this game for more, although the 4,368x potential combined with medium volatility is not the worst prospect we’ve seen in this genre.
