The premium symbols pay between 6 and 20 x your stake for 5 of a kind wins, and all winning symbols are removed and replaced by new and/or existing symbols dropping from above. The Cascading mechanic goes on as long as you keep winning, and the Popcorn Wild symbol can step in for any pay symbol to help complete and/or improve wins.

The Remove and Cascade feature can trigger at random times at the end of a winning streak cascading sequence. The lady next to the vending machine then gives it a kick, and this removes all low-value symbols from the grid. This, of course, triggers a new cascade, which may prolong your winning streak.

We have to say that we found Vending Machine to be surprisingly fun, and the nocturnal setting gives it a calm vibe that we also enjoyed. At first glance this game might not look all that exciting, and it can even come across as boring with the lady staring casually into her telephone there on the right-hand side. However, the multiplier system combined with cascading wins makes for a highly unpredictable and entertaining base game.

The multiplier boost symbols can really make a dent when they appear, but lightning up those multiplier rows is not always an easy task. The bonus rounds come to the rescue on a regular basis, however, since you start out with either 3 or all 5 multipliers active from the get-go. There’s no telling how many free spins you’ll end up getting in these features, but you can win up to 5,000x your stake at the most. This is solid for a somewhat casual medium volatile installment, and Vending Machine is another highly competent release from Hacksaw.
