Tom Horn Gaming are a very consistent slot studio that has already impressed us on a couple of occasions. It takes place on a playing field with 5 reels and 5 rows, though there aren’t any paylines. Instead, you have to find Clusters of 5 or more matching symbols in order to get a win.

Thematically, Triple Thunder is about three mythic gods – Perun, Thor, and Zeus. They are all associated with thunder, so it makes a lot of sense to have them come together and combine their powers. It’s certainly a fresh idea, too, and we’re always happy to see themes that are this original.

Review Summary

All in all, Triple Thunder feels a bit like a missed opportunity. We certainly like its theme and the fact that there are three flavors of free spins to pick from, but we don’t appreciate its subpar math model. Although it’s not outright shameful, it leaves a lot to be desired, and it means that the game is by no means as appealing as it could’ve been.
