Super Ace is one of the most successful online slots produced by Jili Games in some markets. The game was launched in November 2021 and became a base for many other similar-themed casino games crafted by other studios. In this dedicated review, we’ll bring the timeline back to the very beginning.

But before that, let’s bring the spotlight on the provider for a while. Jili Games is one of the most renowned iGaming suppliers for the Asian market, and the company was established in 2018. Spades and Hearts pay from 0.10x to 0.50x, and Clubs and Diamonds can bring payouts between 0.05x and 0.25x the stake. The Big Joker and Little Joker cards are wild symbols and pay nothing, but they can substitute for all of the regular cards, and, therefore, they are a valuable part of the game.

Golden Card & Joker Wilds

Some cards on reels 2, 3, and 4 may appear as Golden Cards in the base game and free spins. If eliminated as part of a winning combination, the card will flip on its position and will reveal a wild symbol for the following cascade. Wilds can only appear as a result of Gold Card transformations.

Wilds are Joker Cards and can be Big Jokers or Little Jokers. They both can replace any regular symbol to form winning combinations. Big Jokers will replace 1 to 4 random cards on reels 2, 3, 4, and 5 into wilds in addition to the original Gold Card position. Little Jokers place wilds only on the original Gold Card positions.

Combo Multiplier

The Comb Multiplier trail is part of Gonzo’s Quest mechanic, which I mentioned earlier. When at least one winning combination occurs, it will create Combo 1, and the starting win multiplier of x1 will upgrade to x2. If the consecutive cascades bring more wins, the Combo Multiplier can upgrade to x3 and x5. At the end of a base game spin, the multiplier value will be reset back to x1.

Super Ace is a fun online slot to play if you wish to spend a few hours and have fun. It comes with different features that will allow you to develop various strategies and perhaps win a buck or two. Certainly, the most significant advantages are the beneficial volatility mixed with a high RTP (97%) and the advanced mechanics.

I like the slot concept of transforming symbols into wilds, but this feature, in particular, needs to be further developed. The elimination multipliers are nice and will always be trendy, but they are taken from another type of online slot. Moreover, the game would have earned more points if it offered something unique during the bonus and not only doubled multipliers.

In 2024, Jili Games launched Super Ace Deluxe with a much higher max win (10,000x) and a Star Card feature. It may activate later during the cascading sequence and can transform symbols into Golden Cards. The Combo Multiplier trail is one position longer and can reach x10 and x20 in the different game stages.

Later in 2024, another iGaming studio with a huge fan base in Asia, Royal Slot Gaming, launched a sequel to Jili Games’ slot - Super Ace 2. Unfortunately, the game is a copycat of Super Ace with rendered visuals and a couple of extra tools - Bonus Buy and Extra Bets. The game was also introduced in 2024 and offers an RTP of 96.48%, but high volatility and a 5,000x max win. It also doesn’t offer anything new to the Jili Games’ concept but mechanics that are more trustworthy and magnificent attention to detail. In the end, I must say that Super Ace definitely has a charm, but you need to approach it with extra caution.
