The premium shark symbols pay between 2.5 and 15 x your stake for 5 of a kind wins, and Wilds play a central part in this game. As their core function, wilds step in for any pay symbol to help complete and/or improve wins, and we’ll take a look at what more they do below. Winning symbols are removed via the Cascading mechanic, and replaced by new and/or existing symbols dropping down from above. This repeats indefinitely as long as you keep winning.

The Countdown Wild Feature makes sure that all wild symbols that appear land with a countdown counter that starts anywhere between 1 and 5. The Wild counter decreases by 1 per cascading win the wild partakes in, and wilds are removed only when the counter reaches zero. The Bonus Round triggers when you land 3, 4, or 5 bonus scatters in view, and this gives you 7, 10, or 15 free spins, respectively. You get +1 extra spin per bonus scatter that appears in the bonus round, and the Countdown Wild Multiplier does not reset between spins for as long as the free spins round lasts. The multiplier tops out at x5 also in the bonus round.

Review Summary

Well, the idea of a Shark Wash service is certainly original and hilarious enough, but the execution isn’t quite up there to match it. Don’t get us wrong, Shark Wash holds the high production value standard we’re used to from Relax Gaming, but the concept sort of fails to spread its wings properly to really make a lasting impact. You get some funny symbols and animations, but more could’ve been done with this idea to really make it stick out.

The gameplay is simple enough, really, as the base game is all about using countdown wilds to build the cascading sequence win multiplier. Decent payouts can be landed, as the longer the cascade goes, the higher your likelihood of a larger multiplier boost will be. This is even more true in the bonus round, since the multiplier never resets. It cannot go higher than x5, however, and the 5,000x potential isn’t too impressive in this day and age. Shark Wash is a decent effort, but we hardly see a new Razor Shark here.
