We know BetSoft can do funny games, crazy games and even dark and atmospheric ones – this is the first time I had come across a deliberately ‘cute’ BetSoft slot. Obviously these types of games are a hit, as the likes of OMG Kittens by WMS remain extremely popular.

Puppy Love is all doe-eyed little dogs, playful animations and cheerful tunes. While this is off the scale as far as my personal tolerance for the cute side of life goes – I will have to admit (through gritted teeth) that it is a well put together and even quite an entertaining game.

The symbols are filled with puppies. These are big head-shots, which show off those big brown eyes looking out at you. When you hit a winning combination, one of the symbols will expand and show a short animation involving the dog pictured. This can be anything from chasing a ball to simply turning to face you. There is a very colourful kennel and a dog bowl symbol also on the reels. Wild symbols (the collar name tag) come stacked and are also wild. There is some barking (also cute) as you’d expect. In the background a happy electronic tune plays.
