It almost seems like StakeLogic is trying to catch up with AvatarUX, the way they keep churning out new PopWins mechanic installments. Granted, Multi Joker PopWins is very similar to the original Joker Drop, but it comes with an interesting multiplier tweak in the bonus round. The classic style visuals are all the same though, down to the symbols and even symbol values.

Many times the remake is beefed up with a higher potential, but the 10,000x you get in this 4th official PopWins installment from StakeLogic is actually half of what’s on offer in the predecessor. Other than that, you get multiplier symbols up to x100 in the bonus round, and these can combine while also being added to the predetermined win multiplier. An explosive combo, no doubt, and adds a different flavor to the feature.

The premium symbols pay between 0.75 and 5 x your stake for 5 of a kind wins, and the Joker Wild steps in for all pay symbols to help complete wins. Winning symbols are removed via the PopWins mechanic, and replaced by 2 new symbols. This expands the grid and number of win ways accordingly, and each reel can go as high as 7 positions. Everything resets between base game spins, and winning symbols are still replaced if the grid maxes out.

Small Diamond icons can appear overlaid on regular symbols, and these are collected in the Diamond Meter seen on the left. You need to collect 5 diamonds in the same PopWins sequence to trigger the modifier, and this gives you 5 Wild symbols spread out on the 3 middle reels. The meter resets between spins, or after being triggered.

You can also land Crown icons overlaid on regular symbols, and these are collected in the Crown Meter above the already mentioned diamond meter. You need to fill this meter with 5+ crown tokens to get the modifier, and this awards cash prize coin symbols that are immediately paid. It resets after activation, and between spins, same as the diamond meter.

You need to max out the grid with 7 positions per reel to fill the 3rd and final meter, and this is how you trigger the Bonus Round. You will then get between 8 and 15 free spins from the bonus Wheel, as well as a multiplier of x2 to x25. The default bonus round grid is 5x7, and you can land multiplier symbols with up to x100 values. These are added together with the win multiplier to boost any win.

If StakeLogic plans to catch up with AvatarUX when it comes to the number of PopWin releases, they probably need to pull more than a few stunts like Multi Joker PopWins. The game is very similar to Joker Drop, and the visuals, symbols and symbol values are identical. It’s a decent remake though, without adding anything revolutionary to the overall series.

The 10,000x potential has admittedly been sliced significantly, but it somehow seems easier to achieve in this game. We have no official numbers on this, but the brand new multiplier symbols up to x100 that are added to the overall bonus round multiplier gave us this impression. The top-tier 96.2 % RTP is a bit higher as well, and overall we prefer this remake to the original, despite the lower potential.
