He figures on the splash screen with a cigar in his mouth, and catching bad guys is probably his middle name. Max Win W.P.D comes with a semi-realistic cartoon-style presentation that we enjoyed, and there is plenty of radio-talk voiceover as well.

The base game wasn’t all that enjoyable after a while though, as it comes with no real bonus features. We grinded along until Max showed up to give us the bonus round, and he can also award a larger payout instead. The feature comes with upgradable multiplier wilds that are sticky for the duration of the bonus round, and the max win is a decent 7,976x our stake.

The audiovisuals were quite enjoyable in this semi-realistic, cartoonish cop & criminal installment from iSoftBet. It seems inspired by some kind of cop show, or perhaps a movie, but it’s too vague to pinpoint which one it is. We might be projecting too much into it also, and the base game didn’t really offer too much in terms of features. It was a grind, at least in our session, and you’re basically just waiting for Max to show up.

He will award a “big win” more often than the bonus round, and the “big win” is usually not super big either, naturally. The good news is that the bonus round can trigger via scatters as well, but it’s a tad lame that multiplier wilds cannot at least be added together for the boost. We have no complaints about the 7,976x potential, however, and overall this is a decent installment in the cops and robbers genre.
