StakeLogic seems to be running low on creative juices lately, as they keep releasing one blatant copycat effort after another. Mystery Drop was an in-your-face CherryPop ripoff, just like Jaguar Strike is a glaring, yet watered down, copy of Push Gaming’s popular Razor Shark. What’s eating the StakeLogic team is anybody's guess, but we hope they find back to themselves sooner rather than later.

Fans of the obvious source of inspiration know what to expect, as both games revolve around the nuding mystery stack respins feature. The multiplier coins come with less than half the maxed out value in this installment though, which is something to consider. The RTP of 95.63 % is also below par, and you can choose to play with Super Stake turned on to increase your bonus round chances.

There are no wilds in this game, but landing a 5-oak win with the premium character symbols pays between 5 and 50 times your stake. You can choose to turn on the Super Stake feature, and this doubles the price per spin. The 95.63 % RTP remains the same, but the Super Stake mode increases your bonus round chances by adding extra scatters.

You will land stacks of Mystery symbols on a regular basis, and this triggers the Drop and Reveal Respins feature. The mystery stack is 4 symbols in height, and it nudges down one position per respin. All mystery symbols reveal the same randomly chosen pay symbols on each respin as well, but they can also turn into the special Jaguar Strike Symbol.

This triggers the Jaguar Strike Coin Feature, where all mystery positions spin to reveal either scatter symbols or coin multiplier prizes. There are 3 types of coin symbols, and they come with multipliers of 1-10x (bronze), 25-200x (silver) and 250-1,000x (gold).

The Bonus Round is triggered when you land at least 3 scatters anywhere in view, and you start out with reels 2 and 4 filled with Mystery stacks. This, of course, triggers the Drop & Reveal feature, and the win multiplier increases by +1 per free spin.

You don’t get a fixed amount of free spins though, and the feature goes on as long as there are mystery symbols present on the reels. If a scatter is revealed in the Jaguar Strike Coin Feature, all mystery symbols are nudged one position upwards.

StakeLogic has gone on an out-of-character copycat spree lately, and it started with their blatant rip-off of Avatar UX’ CherryPop. Jaguar Strike is pretty much a watered down version of Push Gaming’s Razor Shark, and it will be interesting to see if there are any legal repercussions. The source of inspiration (if we can call it that) is famous for smashing its own win cap with an insane 85,000x payout, but it’s hard to tell what this copycat effort can do.

The max win is not revealed, but we do know that the max multiplier coin prize has been lowered from 2,500x to 1,000x. The Aztec theme is nicely done, with an animated jaguar lurking in the background, but we really don’t understand what StakeLogic has been thinking lately. It’s very possible to make somewhat unique games based on previous ideas without being so in-your-face about it.
