It seems like Push Gaming has imagined a world where the dinosaurs didn’t go extinct, and instead ended up taking over the world and become, of all things, police officers. That’s right, Dino P.D. is exactly what it sounds like, and you get donut munching anthropomorphic dinos filling their uniforms to the brim. You get the best of two worlds in this game, really, as feature-wise it’s a mix of both Dinapolis and Big Bamboo.

The Dino Coins take center stage in this game as well, and each coin can be worth up to 1,000x your stake also here. The 10,000x potential is well below the 50,000x on offer in both predecessors, however, but you’re in for a less brutal ride this time. Being pulled over by a T-Rex for speeding is probably not an experience you’ll forget anytime soon, so we assume most of the creatures around this place are abiding by the law as best they can.

Playing with the Ante Bet turned on increases your regular stake by 20 %, and this also increases your bonus round chances. The mid-level symbols pay between 7.5 and 10 x your stake for 5 of a kind wins, while the 3 character premium symbols pay between 30 and 50 x your stake for the same. The golden ‘W’ Wild symbol steps in for pay symbols to help complete and/or improve wins, and it also pays 250x your stake for 5 on a payline.

The Dino Coin symbols can land both in the base game and in the bonus round, and they come with cash prizes of 1x, 2x, 5x, 10x, 25x, 50x, 100x, 250x, 500x, or 1,000x your stake. You need at least 5 Dino Coins anywhere in view to win the sum total of their prizes.

You need a regular scatter symbol on reels 1 and 3, as well as the Gamble Scatter on reel 5, to trigger the Bonus Round. The Gamble Scatter will then spin to determine which bonus round tier you get as follows:

Review Summary

Big Bamboo has, a bit unexpectedly perhaps, become a massive success for Push Gaming, and more so than Dinapolis, which Dino P.D. is more closely related to in the visual department. The feature department is a mix of both games though, which we don’t really mind at all. The dino police theme is nicely done, but not really as harmonious as the more zen-like Bamboo predecessor.

The math model is not as brutal though, which makes Dino P.D. more casual friendly, but you pay the prize in the form of a far lower 10,000x potential (down from 50,000x). This is still a respectable number all things considered though, and the Dino Coin feature can still land you solid payouts in all stages of the game. We got plenty of multiplier boosted dino coin wins in our test session at least, and we are sure a certain crowd will appreciate this less volatile blending of two notable releases.
