Crazy Hunter is a Shooting arcade crafted by the Asian game-developing studio Jili Games. It was released in 2021 and quickly got a sequel, as players seem to enjoy it. In short, the objective is to shoot at and take down towers on which monsters stay. Upon landing, they will be destroyed, and you’ll cash out random prizes, with a chance to obtain boosters. Sounds fun, right?

Jili Games is known for crafting Asian-themed online slots, but also table games, Crash, and Fishing shooters. Mega Fishing and Dinosaur Tycoon are some of the finest non-slot games released by the company. They often come linked to progressive jackpots and offer engaging features and spectacular battles. Stone Towers award from 2x to 12x and 4x to 60x, Magic Towers - 5x to 30x and 10x to 150x, Queen - 10x to 30x and 15x to 150x, and King pays between 20x and 40x, and 25x and 200x. Some of the monsters unleash special attacks when destroyed, but I’ll explain this later in my review. Ice Dragon and Gold Treasure Hold also deserve a more detailed introduction.

The Crazy Hunter RTP rate is very high - 97%, while the expected volatility is medium. The betting range is configurable and can be from €0.10 to €5 up to €0.50 to €500. Each bullet will cost you the selected bet, so make sure to keep your bankroll under constant supervision. The Autoplay if not adjusted wisely, can quickly drain your balance!

Moreover, there is no rule on how many times you have to hit a tower to take it down. Even the strongest monsters can be killed in a single shot. However, the logic is that the more powerful a monster is, the more shots it takes to destroy it. The Crazy Hunter max win is 2,000x the bet, and if the info in Jili Games’ memo is correct, it might be capped at €12,000 in total.

Crazy Hunter is all about collecting cash prizes and special artifacts for destroying monsters. Therefore, it is normal to expect bonus features and modifiers. Jili Games has proven over the years to be very generous in that regard. Read the following paragraphs carefully to find out what to expect when shooting at more powerful enemies. Extra Pay

Extra Pay activates randomly when you destroy a tower, and despite paying boosted cash or activating a special skill, it brings an extra reward. It can be either a Multiplier Crystal or a Prize Chest. Multiplier Crystals are green, red, and purple, and award a multiplier of x2, x3, and x5, respectively, to the cash prize. Prize Chests reveal a random reward of 5x to 15x the bet.

Ice Dragon Trial

Ice Dragon Trial may activate randomly upon a regular monster kill. The legendary dragon will fly in and take you to its cave. You will have a limited time of 60 seconds to shoot at the Ice Dragon. You can terminate the mode at any time by hitting the Next tab. Ice Pillars are above the Dragon and may hit it, adding win multipliers of between x1 and x15. You can obtain Purple Chests and Ice Chests when defeating the monster, paying from 10x to 50x and 50x to 150x, respectively.

Gold Treasure Hold

Gold Treasure Hold is a special symbol: a golden chest placed on a golden tower. When you destroy it, you can either win from 10x to 50x, or enter a mysterious Treasure Vault and win from 50x to 2,000x. To do that, you’ll need a key, which will unlock a special door. A new battle awaits underground, surrounded by treasures.

Cannon will become more powerful and will shoot at all targets at once. You will start with 5 free shots, and every enemy down has a chance to award an extra round, up to 10 in total. Monsters pay as usual, but you can obtain Soul Crystals, which increase the Multiplier Towers on the back. When you run out of rounds, your total win will be multiplied by the accumulated multiplier.

Free Golden Boar Game

When you kill any enemy in the base game, except Gold Treasure Hold and Ice Dragon, you may randomly trigger this feature. The setting will change, and you will see a golden pig sitting in front of you. The RNG will provide you with a Free Hammer to destroy the Golden Piggy Bank and win between 10x and 50x the stake.

Function Monsters

Some special monsters will unleash special functions when destroyed. In fact, there are two such features: Bomb Attack and Whole Field Fireball Attack. They target random monsters that are still left on the field and take them down. Bomb Attack can pay up to 40x the bet, while Whole Field Fireball Attack provides Energy Stones. They apply multiplier effects of x2, x3, or x5 to the total win of the respective round.

Cannon Mode and Free Mayhem Missile

Cannon Mode is a type of ante bet added by Jili Games to Crazy Hunter. You can activate the mode from the left, and this will automatically increase your bet by 300%. In return, you’ll get a boosted winning rate by 3 times and a chance for stray shots. They can affect one or two of the side-placed monsters besides the one at the aim.

Free Mayhem Missile activates when your Energy Bar is full and allows you a single yet quite powerful shot at the monsters on the field. You will collect Energy while shooting during the base game and bonus features. The higher the stake, the bigger the amount of Energy!

Theme & Graphics

Crazy Hunter comes with a Medieval theme and touches of Fantasy, given all the sorcerers, dragons, and special creatures. The visual layout is pretty simple and the quality of audio and visuals is rather generic. Obviously, there is a hidden vault underground in a forest where various reties live. Most of them are rated as monsters and must be taken down.

Despite all the greenery, sunlight, and light-hearted motifs, there is an Ice Dragon living nearby. The irony is that you will want to meet it as frequently as possible, as it will award huge rewards. The higher the stake, the more richly decorated your cannons are! The explosions and missile attacks are well-crafted, yet make no sense!

Fishing Games and Shooters are a special type of casino games that some players do not take as seriously as they take roulette, for example. However, Crazy Hunter is an example of why they should reconsider. The engaging gameplay and multiple features make the title quite thrilling. In fact, the shootout is so mesmerizing that you have to be extra careful with your bankroll.

There are different types of shooting games out there, like the Max Quest by Betsoft, or Jackpot Fishing by Jili Games. Moreover, a sequel was released in 2024 by TaDa Gaming - Crazy Hunter 2. I highly recommend cautious play with all the titles in the category. If you use low bets and carefully choose your targets, there’s a big chance to end with more green than at the beginning!
