Habanero has undoubtedly crafted a visually appealing game with Totem Warrior. The graphics are detailed, the animations are smooth, and the overall atmosphere is immersive. I was particularly impressed with the character design of the female warrior; her feathered headdress and weaponry give her an authentic look, and her expressive animations add a touch of personality to the game. She is clearly invested in your spins, reacting with boredom during idle moments and celebrating your wins with enthusiasm. It's a nice touch that adds to the overall engagement.

However, while the aesthetics are commendable, the gameplay itself left me wanting more. The Totem multiplier wilds, seemingly triggered by the warrior slamming her spear into the ground, are a central feature, but they feel somewhat underwhelming in practice. The lack of a visible multiplier value on the Totem Wilds is a strange design choice, making it difficult to gauge the impact of the feature without memorizing the paytable info. In my experience, these Totem wilds rarely resulted in significant wins or even thrilling moments, often covering only the bottom position and hardly ever the full reel.

The bonus round, which takes you inside the Aztec temple, initially promises a change of pace.
