But for real - it feels like Betsoft has taken a popular theme and mechanics, recycled them, and added one more title to an already overcrowded niche. The game doesn’t bring a single unique element to make it memorable. It’s vibrant, sure, but it lacks any originality or charm to make it stand out.

Starting with the design, there’s nothing here we haven’t seen before. The candy-styled visuals are colorful but hardly groundbreaking, and they surely fail to set this game apart from countless others. Then, there's the gameplay. Sure, it's entertaining, but again, it lacks any originality. The Free Spins are just a near copy of Pragmatic Play’s Sweet Bonanza, while the Hold and Win feature is also something we’ve encountered hundreds, if not thousands, of times. The market is already oversaturated with these kinds of games, and while players might love the thing, it wouldn’t hurt to add something a little fresh. Instead, Super Sugar Pop simply blends into the crowd, offering the exact same experience as hundreds of other slots out there.

Again, I know players love these features and themes, and Super Sugar Pop will likely find its fans. We just wish Betsoft had added something to make this slot stick out from the range, rather than blatantly offering more of the same. That said, if you’re looking for something new, this one is lacking in the department and feels a like deja vu. Still, for those sweet tooth gamers really crazy about the theme and punters who don’t mind a familiar experience, there is entertainment to be found.
