Welp, it's hard for me to call it a scratch game, more like something like roulette, but we'll come back to that a bit later.

Alright, it is time to talk about Pappu Playing Pictures’ gameplay and its mechanics. Gameplay-wise, this game is extremely simple and is something between lottery and roulette. What is the point: we have 12 symbols on which we place our bet, after which the winning symbol (it is always one) is shown. That's it. Were you expecting something more? Welp, this game has a little ace up its sleeve - multipliers, but we will talk about them a little bit later. If you ask me to describe this game, I'll say straightforward. If you understand what you are going for, a good experience is guaranteed. Otherwise, you will get nothing but frustration.

So, is it time to talk about features? As I've already mentioned, this game is very simple, and to such an extent that a player who is used to more complex mechanics may get confused. Nevertheless, Pappu has a couple of aces up his sleeve. The first thing to notice is that you are playing with real players. Sometimes this means that the lobby is full and you can't enter it. Don't expect much, as this feature is as simple as a brick. In brief, before each round but after the bets have already been placed, there is a chance that a few symbols will get multipliers from x10 to x50. This does not mean that the symbols with multipliers will win, so making the right bet and hitting the multipliers is not an easy task. Nevertheless, if you pull it off, the payout will be quite juicy.

Theme & Graphics

Ugh, I'll be honest, the game looks cheap. I mean, really cheap, especially in comparison with the content of major studios like Hacksaw Gaming or Pragmatic Play. But let's be honest, it's clearly not the same scale or budget. The game is kinda Indian-themed, which is reflected in the symbols: cow, candle, dove, toy, etc. To speak frankly, I caught a vibe of pictures from textbooks for preschoolers. The interface is as standard as possible, without any zest - I don't even have anything to say about it. The OST also can not boast of originality, but it is not annoying. Moreover, the interface is adapted only for mobile devices, so the already questionable picture looks even worse on wide screens.

Verdict

Time to bring our little review to a close. And I'm having a hard time even finding the words for it. It's a game, and it exists. Is it a good game? - Hardly. Still, who knows, even though it's clearly not my cup of tea, there may be people who disagree with me. For me, there's nothing interesting here: the gameplay is repetitive, there are no interesting mechanics, the visuals are pale, and the music is also questionable. Jili Gaming has much more interesting titles, so I still recommend you take a closer look at its portfolio. Alas, I can't recommend Pappu Playing Pictures unless you have nothing to do or are a huge connoisseur of Indian culture.
