Demon Queen is a decent enough effort from NowNow Gaming, and wild symbols are a tried and tested staple that works their magic in many games. The underworld setting is well-crafted, and having a femme fatale devil instead of the usual horned demon is a nice touch. Not that it hasn’t been done many times before, but it still comes across as refreshing in this game. The soundtrack adds a bit of atmosphere as well, and it all comes together nicely without any hiccups.

Mechanically, the game revolves around the horizontal Feature Reel, which delivers different wild symbol features. This top reel combined with cascading symbols ensures that the base game never feels stale or boring, and you can expect decent to solid payouts once you get a winning streak going. There is a reason the Blazing Wild FeatureSpin is priced as high as 50x your stake, as even a single wild from the reel dropping down can lead to lengthy streaks.

Once you get the initial wild win, more Blazing Wilds are bound to drop down, leading to more wins and more Blazing Wilds from the Feature Reel. I had a good time purchasing this feature in my test session, and I got multiple returns well above 100x my stake.
