The Zombie Rush slot is one that surrounds the adventures of a boy named Max as he navigates around a world infested by zombies while searching for Claire, who I’m presuming is his girlfriend but could just as easily be his sister. The zombies at this slot are not quite the walking dead, more comedy than scary, adding humour to this excellent slot.

The slot is set against the backdrop of a street, although this looks like a post-apocalyptic street with a burning building to the right and a decimated building to the left. This slot looks amazing, Max standing to the bottom left of the reels, swinging his baseball bat in readiness for a zombie attack, each of the symbols very impressive, looking as if they’ve been designed by a company such as Pixar. This improves even more when playing as the winning symbols have added animation – one of the zombies decided to eat a section of his brain as a particularly ‘pleasant’ example. When playing the game is eerily silent between spins, just the sound of Max and the baseball bat, which is actually very effective – this all changing when the bonus features come around!
