Known as the remover of obstacles and bringer of good fortune, this four-armed creature with its characteristic elephant head takes center stage in Jili Games’s Super Rich slot. While I doubt the Super Rich slot will live up to its title and make anyone super rich, Jili Games has still come up with an intriguing concept for players who love the simplicity of classic slot machines. With its Hindu-inspired visuals and Ganesha symbols, Super Rich will probably have a broader appeal in India than in the West. Still, if you’re looking for something exotic that stands out from your typical 3-reel fruit slot, Super Rich is a viable alternative.

I like that you can choose between 3 spin speed settings, but the normal spin speed gets dull rather quickly if you are like me and love fast-paced action. The regular turbo setting is the ideal golden middle way in this game, as the super turbo offers lightning-fast spins where you hardly notice whether you win or lose. This is not least the case if you also switch on autoplay, and this can drain your bankroll faster than you can say Ganesha’s trumpet.

One thing I didn’t like about Super Rich is that almost all the wins I got were of the mixed kind. I have nothing against diversity, but when grinding through hundreds of spins, I expected a few ‘pure’ wins at the very least. These types of larger wins hardly manifested at all, which made the experience a bit too predictable and one-dimensional. Of course, there are no features to break up the base game grind either, so you’re stuck with 8x top-up wins most of the time. This will keep you afloat to a certain degree, but it’s hardly all that entertaining in the long run.

Jili Games has labeled Super Rich a low-to-medium volatility game, but the hit rate is rather low in my experience. You should brace yourself for plenty of dead spins between the aforementioned 8x top-up wins, and it doesn’t help that the soundtrack loops the same repetitive melody endlessly either. It does admittedly have a kind of hypnotic effect, which may help you relax, but with a max win of only 888x your stake, the juice is hardly worth the squeeze.
