More Gold Diggin game review
Another sequel from BetSoft – and another game which fully deserves to be on any slot fan’s must-play list. In the follow up to the hugely successful Gold Diggers slot, this game features 2 redneck type gold miners and a cheeky gopher, and includes cascading wins and a free spins bonus game. The 3D graphics, from the opening sequence through to the main game, are stunning. You’ll have the rednecks ‘host’ the game for you, reacting to your wins (as well as to the gopher). With the potential for wins to get large multipliers, there is more to this game than just the graphics.
Visually, this slot takes you back to the days of the gold-rush, with mechanical carts and TNT – rather than modern excavation machinery. The miners stand either side of the reels and are constantly taunted by the gopher while you play. He drops things on their heads, bites them and appears huge right in front of the reels on occasion. The symbols on the reels are blocks of colour which mimic how you’d find certain gems and gold in the rocks. There are gemstones too, and TNT barrels and sticks.
There is only a single free spins game as a change from the main view. This has its own intro sequence involving the two characters boarding a mine cart and travelling to a different part of the mine. This is definitely worth seeing the first time – and you can skip it after that. There is also a ‘double up’ option after a win which is animated and worth seeing at least once – even if you do not normally choose to double after a win.
