We admittedly thought so at first glance, but this is more of a 9 Masks Of Fire-inspired effort than anything else. While many fishing slots, and not least the Big Bass Bonanza range, come with a laidback and cozy atmosphere, Lobster Bob’s Crazy Crab Shack comes across as a bit too much in your face “charming”. It’s like it’s trying too hard to compete for attention, and we got a visual overload from all the colorful stuff going on at the same time. The game is also heavily inspired by Gameburger’s smash hit, 9 Masks Of Fire, although it’s admittedly kind of fun to see the crabs crawl into the instant prize meter each time you land an instant prize.

Still, the prizes don’t go higher than 2,000x in the base game, same as in the obvious source of inspiration, but the big difference is that also the instant crab prizes are subject to the bonus round win multiplier. This bumps the max win up to a respectable 6,000x your stake, which makes Lobster Bob’s Crazy Crab Shack a decent competitor to 9MOF. Another detail to notice is that the FS multipliers are randomly assigned, and not fixed to a number of spins. We don’t think it’s enough to threaten the kings of the instant jackpot genre though, but some players might be amused by what’s on offer here.
