The fruit symbols pay between 0.5 and 5 x your stake for 6 of a kind wins, and you win by landing 3 to 6 matching symbols on adjacent reels from the uttermost left towards the right. The red shiny lucky number 7 Wild symbol can appear on reels 2, 3, 4, and 5 only, and it steps in for pay symbols to help complete wins. The wild holds no value of its own, however.

The blue Star Scatter symbol can appear on all 6 reels, and you need at least 3 in view anywhere to land a scatter win. More precisely, you win 2x, 10x, 50x, or 500x your stake when you land 3, 4, 5, or 6 scatters anywhere in view on the same spin.

OnlyPlay has created an unusually simple Megaways release with Hot and Spicy Megaways, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. It all depends on what you’re in the mood for, of course, and this game stays truer to the fruit machine tradition than many other dynamic reels installments out there. The pace is excellent, and there are no cascading wins to slow you down either, but players looking for tons of moving parts and extras should probably look elsewhere.

You’ve got wild symbols to help you out on the 4 middle reels, and the Chilly Mini Slot is your best bet at landing larger payouts. Most of the time it lands a mixed combo which does nothing, and it’s annoying when you land a solid multiplier but no win to boost it with. Once in a while your win will be boosted by x3, x6, or x9 though, and this is how you’re most likely to close in on the 21,870x potential. There is no bonus round to look forward to, so we’re pretty sure a game like this will not be everyone’s cup of tea.
