You need between 10 and 22+ matching symbols anywhere in view to win. The premium fruit symbols pay between 0.5 and 2 x your stake for 10, and between 50 and 200 x your stake for 22+ in sight. The Wild symbol steps in for pay symbols to help complete wins, but it cannot substitute for bonus symbols.

You need 6+ bonus symbols of any kind to trigger the Hold the Jackpot feature, and all bonus symbols are sticky for one spin if you land 3, 4 or 5 of them. The feature plays out on a grid with 25 reel positions, and all the triggering symbols are sticky. Blanks or new bonus symbols can appear, and each new sticky bonus symbol resets the spin tally to 3 every time.

The cash bonus symbols come with prizes between 1x and 10x, and you can also land Mini, Minor and Major jackpot symbols worth 20x, 50x and 150x your stake, respectively. Collector symbols collect all regular cash prizes, while the Double Collector collects all cash prizes (including from the collector and double collector symbols) and doubles the total value.

Wazdan continues their Hold the Jackpot range with yet another installment, and you either like their unique style, or you don’t. It might be an acquired taste, but we have learned to enjoy their games by now at least. The pace is excellent with 3 different options, and you also get to choose your preferred volatility. No other developers offer this kind of flexibility, which is commendable.

We also like that they keep tweaking the bonus symbol modifiers in more or less every release, at least to a certain degree. There aren’t any dramatically new innovations to be seen in Hot Slot™: Magic Pearls to be fair, but the double collector symbol can make a solid dent if it appears towards the end of the feature. The 2,500x potential could have been higher perhaps, and Wazdan could consider different max wins for each volatility setting.
