Northern Lights Gaming has pretty much ripped off SpinPlay’s 9 Blazing Diamonds, but Divine Diamonds doesn’t live up to the source of inspiration. First of all, the top diamond scatter prize is a bit lower than in Blazing Diamonds, and the multiplier you get in the bonus round does not apply to the scatter prizes in this game, like it does in SpinPlay’s version. While the max win increases to 10,000x in that game, it remains at 2,250x here.

Both are medium volatile games with a decent above average RTP, and it’s hard to think of a reason why players would choose this inferior clone except, perhaps, for the nostalgic physical slot machine appearance. The max bet is almost £100 higher in this game though, but it hardly appeals to high rollers anyway. Northern Lights seem to have forgotten the golden copycat rule of making their clone the best alternative.
